“Don’t just stand there, DO something!”
Many of our meaningful and memorable life experiences have come from doing something… anything… and crazy “I didn’t think I could do that” things. Doing is how we’ve defined our life experiences, which in turn has defined who we are today …. and who we will be tomorrow. Who we are is a journey and an evolution and doing is how we get there.
Get up, get out and DO stuff!
Influenced by my travels, my experiences, and being with my mom during her journey through dementia with Lewy Bodies, I bring my students feelings of both power and stillness. I hold space and provide encouragement so my students can experience their best selves.
My mission is to make yoga accessible to everyone and EVERY-body. My great joy is introducing people to yoga who have never done yoga and sharing the benefits of a regular yoga practice.
I teach weekly classes in Tucson Arizona and on locations around the world throughout the year.

Yoga has been a part of my life for over 15 years. My practice has helped me grow stronger in body and more peaceful in mind. The day after I retired from my corporate job in 2016, I flew to Costa Rica and took my yoga teacher training from the Lakshmi Rising School of Yoga and Wellness at the Sanctuary at Two Rivers in Costa Rica. I needed a way to unplug from that career and start on a new path, so I chose a place outside the U.S. and off the grid. I had no intention to teach yoga, I attended because I wanted to deepen my own yoga practice. I thought I was too old, not strong enough, and many other “not enough” to teach yoga. When I returned home to Tucson, I volunteered to teach chair yoga at my mom’s assisted living facility. It was through that experience, and teaching my fellow travelers during an art trip to Greece, that I realized I wanted to teach, that I had something of value to share and that there are many people who want a gentle, slower paced yoga class.
You can expect support and encouragement during my classes, as well as techniques for slowing your body and your mind down. And, expect to be challenged! I believe it’s only when we get outside our comfort zones that we learn. Namaste!
Ready to disconnect and rejuvenate? Join me on a yoga retreat and enjoy yoga each day, spent some time in silence and create.
Live in Tucson and want to join me in yoga class? Here is my current schedule. AND - you don't have to be flexible to do yoga!
Influenced by my travels, my experiences, and being with my mom during her journey through dementia with Lewy Bodies, I bring my students feelings of both power and stillness. I hold space and provide encouragement so my students can experience a judgement-free space to explore yoga and experience their best selves and enrich their lives.
My mission is to make yoga accessible to everyone and EVERYbody. My great joy is introducing people to yoga who have never done yoga and sharing the benefits of a regular yoga practice.
- Yoga is for EVERYbody
- You don’t have to be flexible to do yoga
- Yoga is more than asanas (poses): I incorporate stillness, breathwork and philosophy in most classes.
Let’s do yoga together, create art together, or just be together.
