Gentle Vinyasa Flow Yoga Class

Sore, tired and achy muscles? A mind that just won’t quit? This class will help you relieve tension in your body through a combination of yoga poses and physical therapy techniques. It will also teach you mindfulness techniques to slow your mind chatter and find calm.
This class is perfect for anyone who is new to yoga or wants to re-familiarize themselves with the basics. Prior yoga experience is not necessary and “being flexible” is not required! It is for EVERY BODY.
This is a 60-minute class, and will generally include the following:
- Begin class with time to still the mind.
- Breathing exercises.
- Gentle yoga sequence with modifications for all levels.
- Balance poses.
- Yoga poses for “trouble” spots, like shoulders, hips and piriformis. These poses will be held for several minutes.
- Core work.
Class ends with restorative poses to fully relax the body.
